Framework to Develop Time- and Voltage-Dependent Building Load Profiles Using Polynomial Load Models

The power consumption of buildings over the course each minute, hour, day and season plays a major role in how this load influences Electric Power System voltage frequency, vice versa. This is based on building’s component types, efficiencies, they consume react to changes real time. Due complexity, standard full-building models are typically voltage-invariant. paper proposes novel framework transform these voltage-invariant building into fully time- voltage-dependent profiles using available data sensitivity individual components. While model could theoretically be generated from static every building, approach faces two challenges: first, representing all components impractical develop for possible types; second, energy never measured or modeled at level. proposed compiles form ZIP parameters, maps them end use categories utilized by modeling programs. category then bounded extrema within it. applied profile case study aggregate U.S. residential stock.
